Meet the Exhibitor: Virtusales
A Q&A with publishing solutions software provider and IPG Spring Conference supporter Virtusales
1. How can you help independent publishers become better businesses in 2020?
Virtusales provides a best-in-class, affordable suite of software called Biblio, and consultancy for the entire publishing lifecycle from ideation through production management and asset workflows to managing rights and royalties, allowing publishers to focus on the business of publishing and becoming more successful.
2. Beyond the coronavirus crisis, what is the biggest issue and the biggest opportunity in your part of the publishing world at the moment?
The biggest issue is rights and royalties, because many publishers are using very old and unconnected systems or don't have a system at all and so are using a lot of unnecessary time and effort. There is a big opportunity here, because Biblio can help publishers manage their rights more efficiently and profitably.
3. What are you most looking forward to about the IPG's virtual Spring Conference in June?
I really appreciate and admire the IPG's efforts to make the Conference as similar as possible to the normal physical event, and am pleased to be able to support the IPG and our independent publishing clients. It will be Virtusales' first time exhibiting at a virtual Conference, so we are excited to be involved.
