As the designer behind Happy Panda Graphic Design, I’m looking to work with publishers, authors and small presses on book design, typesetting, artwork and other related projects.

Over the past few years, I have worked with Belle Media on the typesetting of several children’s books published in Gaelic, including recreating handwritten text within the illustrations to preserve the original style and character of the artwork. With over 20 years of experience in the print industry, I have developed a strong understanding of production processes, layout and typography, along with a meticulous eye for detail and consistency.

I am an experienced commercial finance leader who has worked across a broad range of businesses in the publishing, media and content industries. I have over a decade of experience within Harper Collins as a finance business partner within trade and education divisions and most recently have been advising startups developing their business plans and refining their growth and investment strategies.

I have a track record of helping businesses grow organically and through acquisition and would love to discuss further if you are looking for some experienced finance FD/CFO support without the full-time cost - I am open to fractional and project work. I am a qualified chartered accountant, trained in audit with Deloitte, and more recently have been helping to update the finance skills hub for the IPG.
