Allison & Busby is seeking a Sales & Marketing Executive to join our small and energetic team. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Sales and their duties will include:

  • Support for home and export sales teams: managing the timely flow of information, contacting local bookshops, processing orders via the GBS warehouse, managing the A&B Amazon Advantage account.
  • Taking the lead running Allison & Busby's social media channels: continuing to build the company's presence online; integrating with front and backlist campaigns across all our social media channels and direct marketing emails. Creating effective and eye-catching content and assets - familiarity with Photoshop is a must.
  • Marketing and publicity: whether for traditional print or broadcast outlets or through lively blog tours, getting review copies where they need to go. The successful candidate will have the confidence to pitch titles from a diverse commercial list.
  • Maintaining bibliographic data, both via the Biblio system and on our own website. Processing customer orders made through our website and over the phone.

Applicants should be well-organised, have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be joining a very busy team where flexibility and collaboration is key. A proven track record managing data and implementing creative marketing campaigns in commercial trade publishing would be an advantage.

The role will be full-time and based at our central London office, near Oxford Street.

Annual salary £25,500.
