Job description

Edward Elgar Publishing is an award-winning international publisher of academic and professional books, with a strong focus on the social sciences and legal fields.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to help support our small, busy online sales team. eBook sales are a crucial part of our business, so this is an important and vital role.

This full-time position, based in our Cheltenham offices includes work on our management system to ensure our library customers have access to journals and books (setting up accounts and products), as well as providing prices and usage reports to the sales team. The role also includes: - handling our translation rights, data entry (adding and amending customer information) and general admin tasks.

A high degree of organization and attention to detail is essential. The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of Excel and experience of databases or access management systems would be advantageous.

Any experience in a customer services role would also be useful.
