General Summary

Reporting to: Online Key Account Manager

Working pattern: Full-time - hybrid - minimum of two days per week in the office; up to three days per week working from home

Department: Operations

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised operations assistant to support our Online Sales and Operations function. The primary focus of this role will be supporting the day-to-day operational management of Amazon, ensuring excellent stock availability, resolving operational issues, monitoring performance, and working closely with both internal teams and external partners to maximise customer service.

Alongside Amazon responsibilities, the successful candidate will provide operational support across the wider Operations team, helping to drive efficient processes, maintain accurate data, and support key business initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys problem solving, working with data, and managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced publishing environment.

Operations

  • Monitor and maintain stock availability across Amazon to minimise out-of-stocks and maximise sales.
  • Investigate and resolve Amazon operational issues including inventory discrepancies, listings, receipting delays, catalogue issues and supply chain exceptions.
  • Liaise with Amazon Vendor Managers and internal teams to ensure operational issues are resolved promptly.
  • Monitor Amazon operational performance and support KPI reporting.
  • Support title launches by ensuring stock and operational readiness ahead of publication.
  • Assist with inventory planning and replenishment activities where required.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support across the wider Operations team.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience within an Operations, Supply Chain, Sales Operations or eCommerce Operations role is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS and data analysis is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
