Job Description

Icon Books is looking for an organised and motivated desk editor to join the team. This role will mainly involve structural/developmental editing, copy editing and proofreading. It will also involve project management, and the ideal candidate will be a confident and skilled editor who is excited by Icon’s list of titles.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in structural editing, copy editing and proofreading non-fiction titles
• Experience in managing titles through the production process would be an advantage
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks when working on multiple projects
• Positive attitude and ability to forge good relationships with authors and colleagues across various teams
