The IPG runs some of the biggest and best events in publishing. They give our members the opportunity to learn from experts across publishing and beyond, catch up with old friends and make valuable new connections.

Our flagship events are the two-day Spring Conference and our one-day Autumn Conference. These bring together several hundred IPG members and dozens of superb speakers to share information and inspiration. From blue-sky thinking to publishing case studies to practical workshops, they cover a huge range of topics and sectors, and provide something to help every member become a better business.

The Autumn Conference was singularly the most informative day I have spent in publishing Jon Barton, Vertebrate Publishing

We have plenty of other events to enjoy throughout the year, including dinners for our Special Interest Groups in academic and professional, children’s and educational publishing. We run popular collective stands and events at The London Book Fair and Frankfurt Book Fair too, providing the chance to exhibit in the company of dozens of members and enjoy our famous Book Fair parties and dinners.
