IPG announces new Patron

Andrew Johnston, co-founder of Quiller Publishing, has become the newest Patron of the IPG.

IPG chief executive Bridget Shine said: "[Johnston] was an outstanding independent publisher for two decades, and as with many IPG members his business flourished in niches of the market that he made his own. He has been an exceptionally generous supporter of our sector and the specialist publishers within it and was a dependable chair during years of rapid change for the IPG. I am very pleased that he will continue to have an association with us."

Johnston said: "I am both honoured and delighted to have become an IPG Patron and to have the opportunity to continue my close involvement with the Guild. One of my first acts after establishing Quiller Publishing was to join the IPG and it has been there as a supportive rock right throughout the last twenty years and indeed was an important element leading to the acquisition of my publishing company. I will be forever grateful and look forward to assisting, alongside my fellow patrons, into the future."

IPG patrons are people whose companies have been or still are IPG members, and who wish to support the guild as individuals. Their donations are ring-fenced for special projects such as the IPG Skills Hub.
